Holiday fun this weekend on Oahu's West Coast

Looking for some festive events this weekend to get in the holiday spirit? This Saturday, Dec. 9, the Waianae Coast Rotary Club presents the 27th annual Waianae Coast Community Christmas Parade. This year's theme of the parade is “Creating Hope on Waianae Coast.'' Don't miss your chance to watch this message being displayed throughout the streets of the West Side. Bring your ohana to be delighted by a variety of floats, marching bands, boats, trucks, and so much more. The Christmas parade will begin at 10 am, starting at Wai‘anae Boat Harbor down Farrington Highway and ending at Wai‘anae Mall.

Can't make it to the parade? Check out Ahupua'a O Nānākuli Homestead and Wai‘anae Economic Development Council’s Christmas on the Ave happening later that day. This event will have you entertained with multiple live performances, 80+ local vendors, and awesome crafts for you and your keiki. Enjoy the festivities and support small businesses during this perfect start to the holiday season . Christmas on the Ave will be held on Dec. 9, in Nānākuli from 4 to 10 pm. The event will take place from Mano Ave to Pililaau Ave.
